Jamie Elizabeth Pressly was born on July 30th 1977 in Kinston, North Carolina. Jaime spent eleven years studying gymnastics and dancing. She attended Costa Mesa High School in California. This is where her mother moved to during while in the process of her divorce from Jaime’s father. Jaime was legally emancipated from her parents at the age of fifteen. She attended a modeling assignment in Japan. It was a case of her having to be emancipated from her parents to be able to attend on her own.

Jaime is an American actress and model and is best known for her role as Joy in the situation comedy My Name is Earl. Her role in this series has seen her nominated for an Emmy for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category in 2006 and 2007. She won the award in 2007 and has been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe for this role also.

Jaime had a movie role as Violet in Poison Ivy: the New Seduction and in a television series Push she played Nikki. There have also been roles as Mika and an undead assassin in the Mortal Kombat Conquest series. She played Audrey in the television drama Jack and Jill. Some of her other roles include starring in the independent film Poor While Trash and in the hit Not Another Teen Movie.

Jaime became the spokesperson for Liz Claiborne Cosmetics and the fragrance Lucky you in 2001. Ranked number eight in the Stuff Magazine 102 Sexiest Women in the World in 2002, she has a high public profile. Jaime played a guest role on the series Charmed and Alyssa Milano played a guest role in the series My Name is Earl. Other guest roles have included Night Man, Silk Stalkings, The Twilight Zone and Becker. You will also see Jaime in an episode of Punk’d. It was 2005 that saw Jaime win the role of Joy Turner on My Name is Earl.
